The young Frankfurt company “Green Medicals Deutschland GmbH” started its business activities in 2022. As one independent company of the Green Medicals Group, Green Medicals Deutschland aims to secure the supply of medical cannabis in Germany.
The Green Medicals Group supports the entire production chain – from cultivation, packaging, import, analysis and release – to distribution to pharmacies and wholesalers. The company sees itself as a quality supplier and was founded to make medical cannabis of the highest pharmaceutical quality available in Germany and other European countries.
Green Medicals Deutschland GmbH will support pharmacies and doctors regarding the use of varieties of medical cannabis flowers. Throughout the entire process chain, Green Medicals Deutschland GmbH cooperates with specialized pharmaceutical service providers that have all the necessary certifications. Our medical cannabis is safely transported from the production site in Northern Macedonia to Germany, stored there and reliably delivered to pharmacies and wholesalers. Qualified pharmaceutical consultants and physicians will round off the offer for expert groups.
The cultivation of medical cannabis is carried out in the own production facility by Green Medicals MKD d.o.o. in Northern Macedonia. After a one-year planning and development phase, the Northern Macedonian licensing procedure was opened in December 2018 and the production facility was constructed. In November 2019, Green Medicals MKD d.o.o. received the cultivation license from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Northern Macedonia.
Green Medicals MKD d.o.o. started the cultivation of medical cannabis in January 2020 and complies with the pharmaceutical quality requirements according to the GACP and GMP guidelines of the EU. The cannabis plants are grown, processed, dried and packed into bulk in a clean room. The decisive factors such as water, light, temperature, CO2 content, humidity, nutrients and vital substances are optimally adapted to the cannabis plants. During the entire production of the cannabis plants, the use of soil is deliberately avoided. After the drying process, the medicinal cannabis flowers are gently and organically sterilized without affecting the active ingredients.
Through the described cultivation and production process, Green Medicals MKD guarantees medical cannabis of high and consistent quality.
Green Medicals MKD d.o.o. exported the first cannabis flowers to Germany in Q3/2022. The product portfolio consists of four cannabis varieties. The announced annual production volume is approx. 1.5 tons. Green Medicals Deutschland will import medical cannabis flowers to Germany on a monthly basis to ensure constant patient care.
